Severus Constantin OLTEANU has finished the National College « Mihai Eminescu » in Buzau.
He received his engineering degree in System engineering in 2010, with the specialization « Automatics and Applied Informatics » at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science, ‘Politehnica’ University of Bucharest.
The first year of master studies (2010-2011) was carried out in the master program « Advanced Control and Real Time Systems » at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science, Bucharest, and the second year of master (2011-2012) in the specialization « Systems, Autonomous Machines and Field Networks » at the Faculty of Informatics, Electronics, Electrics and Automatics, University of Lille l, France.
His PhD degree entitled « Contribution to Estimation and robust Diagnostics of low temperature Hydrogen Fuel Cells » was obtained in 2015, in the CRIStAL laboratory (Research Center in Informatics, Signals and Automatics) CNRS UMR 9189, University of Lille l, having as supervisors, Prof. Abdel Aitouche and Prof. Lotfi Belkoura. During this period he was part of the research teams DiCOT (Diagnostic, Command and Observation for Fault Tolerant Systems) and SyNeR (Hybrid Nonlinear and Delayed Systems).
His work is published in several international papers, having participated in different international conferences. Multiple internships and collaborations were carried out with companies of software programing and automation.
He took part in the European project related to Embedded Systems entitled: IMOCCA (www.imocca.eu). In France, he was part of the GDR HySPàC (« Hydrogen, Systems and Fuel Cells »). Olteanu was part of the organizational committee for the 9th IFAC Symposium on Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety for Technical Processes (Safeprocess 2015), Paris.
