Ioan-Stefan Sacala was born January 20, 1983 in Bucharest, Romania. Dr. eng Ioan Stefan Sacala holds a diploma engineer degree in Automatic Control and Computers Science Faculty and a diploma degree  in Political Geography, a Master in Information Systems and a PhD degree since 2011obtained at University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. His main fields of research are Information Systems, Discrete Event Dynamical Systems, Project Management, Advanced Communication Systems, Internet of Future, Future Internet Enteprise Systems. Dr. Sacala is the author of about 6 papers in peer reviewed journals, of 1 book chapter, 1 book and of over 30 papers in refereed international conference proceedings. He has been keynote speaker to several conferences. His research experience includes numerous national projects, international projects (FP7) and structural funds projects. He is currently member of the Romanian Robotics Society, Technical Association for Automatic Control and Applied Informatics, Romanian Statistics Society, European Defense Agency and Future Internet Enterprise Systems cluster of the European Commission. He is trainer in Oracle DataBase Design & Programming, Websphere Business Process Modeling, Oracle eBusiness Suite. Dr. Ioan Stefan Sacala's research activity is focused on innovation in the domain of ICT. His activity is driven by the belief that there is a need to bridge the gaps of science and setting new standards.
