EMAS – Emergent Multiscale Agents & Services

 

 

We are living in a Smart World which is instrumented, interconnected and more intelligent each day. The EMAS group will propose ideas and develop solutions for the World of Smart, as Smart Buildings, Smart Transportation, Smart Energy, and so on, congregating toward the Smarter Cities of the future.

The EMAS group is an interdisciplinary research group dedicated to socio-technical and complex systems.

Main current research & development topics include (but are not excluded to): multi-agent systems, web services & service oriented architectures (SOA), agent oriented programming (AOP), intelligent systems and agents, smart devices, emergent systems, multiscale control and monitoring, ontology development.
